WHY WAIT TO BE 17 TO LEARN TO DRIVE

This is a fantastic opportunity to learn how to drive in a safe environment and the theory behind it. Learn through fun and interactive activities, with friendly and patient instructors. All the basic skills for being on the road to get you miles ahead.

FRIENDLY AND PATIENT INSTRUCTORS

We are well aware that 1 in 5 new young drivers will be involved in an accident within 6 months of passing their test. We are here to help reduce those risks but educating young people about the importance of safe driving, whilst having fun. For those who have already started learning to drive early, they are 40% less likely to have an accident and generally, also become much safer drivers in the long term.

In drawing from our own experiences from running these courses over a number of years, we have found that those who have first undertaken our Driving Experience Day and subsequently, our parts 2 & 3, have on average advanced by more than 10 lessons than those who haven't when they start training on the roads. If you don't believe us, read our reviews.

SAVE MONEY ON FUTURE DRIVING LESSONS

The confidence level and ability to control the car safely is also greatly enhanced and currently our pass rate for those who have gone on to take their driving test via our ADI's is over 95%, and in the knowledge that they are safe drivers.

IMPROVE CONFIDENCE BEHIND THE WHEEL

So how do we do this?

Our course, which is the only one of its kind currently in the country, and is open to all young people of all abilities from their 14th birthday up to their 17th are initially offered the day course. On completion, subsequent tailored courses become available. In the morning, we cover such things as basic car maintenance, how to change a wheel, the effects of drink & drugs driving by using our driving simulator and our hands, or feet, activity, using a mobile phone and why it's really such a bad idea when driving, and hazard perception to cover some of our morning activities.

GET READY FOR YOUR THEORY TEST

There's also the nitty gritty of learning to drive a car under the careful eyes of our professional driving instructors in our large safety training zone. Our cars are all dual control and we use the Driving Standards Agency curriculum as our base, so what you learn now is exactly what new drivers on the road are learning, so putting you potentially years ahead. Our ADI instructors will familiarise you with the car, its controls, gears, brakes, mirrors and their uses before moving off. By the end you'll be selecting gears, stopping and have performed some manoeuvres as well.

At the end of the day, you will be given their own personalised drive diary record, completed by the instructor, which charts your individual progress and current level of driving ability. By invite, there will be further opportunities to come back to do parts 2 & 3 and continue you’re driving with us.

LOTS MORE OPPORTUNITIES TO DRIVE IN THE FUTURE

Not only is it a driving taster, it’s where your driving career starts. We aim to create a fun, exciting day with plenty of interactivity throughout the day and, all in all, a great day in preparation for learning to drive safely.
